conversion from CFM to inches of area

I am trying to find the conversion to calculate cubic feet per min. of air flow to the inches of area need in a opening to support that air flow. I have an engine that needs 920 cfm of air flow and need to find the size of the opening needed to supply this air flow. If you can please forward me this calculation.
