Someone has given me their weight (1.65) in "mts".  What measurement is this and how do I convert into American pounds?  I need to buy a pair of jeans for them and need to know their size.  Help!!

Do you know what country they are from?

I am not aware of any unit of mass called mts.  Though knowing the country will make it easy to search for.
