To anyone that can help:

I have 8,925 square feet of space.  I need to plant new plants every 3 feet on center.  Hown many would this be?

Thank you

Assuming the area is a perfect square, or at least in multiples of 3 feet in the length and width....

Each plant would take up 9 square feet.

8925 / 9 = 991.667 plants

You'd need 991, or 992 plants. Depending on what you'd want to do with the left over.
