NEED HELP ON A ROLL

I need to find the liner footage of a rolled flooring. The flooring is in a roll. I would like to figure out the amount with out unrolling. Is there a formula for this?

The linear feet would be the length. They use the term linear when they don't take the width into account.

If you know the area, and need the linear feet, divide square feet by the width in feet to get linear feet.

If you know the lenght of the roll, you already know the linear feet as they are the same.
