Hi gurus,

How to convert from microgram per litre to micromoles.
If I have 2 ug/L PO43-  (phosphate) and I want to convert to ?M?
How to proceed?
Thank You.

I found a page here:
http://ioc.unesco.org/oceanteacher/resourcekit/M3/Data/Measurements/Units/NewUnitConversions.htm

It lists Phosphate [PO[sub]4[/sub]] as:
[ug/dm[sup]3[/sup]] = [umol/dm[sup]3[/sup]] · 94.9716
[umol/dm[sup]3[/sup]] = [ug/dm[sup]3[/sup]] · 0.01053

A cubic decimeter, dm[sup]3[/sup], is the same as a liter.

So, according to that conversion factor of phosphate, to convert ug/L to umol/L you multiply by 0.01053, to convert umol/L to ug/L you multiply by 94.9716
