Having trouble finding a simple conversion.  How do I convert specific gravity to parts per thousand?

That doesn't seem like a very simple conversion.  ;)

Could you provide additional information on exactly what you are trying to do?

Specific gravity is usually stated as compared to the density of water. For example, a specific gravity of 1.05 means the substance has 1.05 times the density of pure water.
