sq. ft. to cubic ft???

Hello,

I have a question.  I have a 5.5 acre plot of land and I know that the square footage is 239,580 sq. ft.  Based on the soil density being about 110 pounds per cubic foot.  How many cubic feet are in the plot of land???

That depends on how deep you go.

If it is 1 foot deep then:
239,580 square feet * 1 feet = 239,580 cubic feet
239,580 cubic feet * 110 pounds/cubic foot = 26,353,800 pounds

If it is 2 foot deep then:
239,580 square feet * 2 feet = 479,160 cubic feet
479,160 cubic feet * 110 pounds/cubic foot = 52,707,600 pounds

etc..
