I have the following data from Reade.
Cement, Portland 94 pounds/cubic foot
Cement, mortar 135 pounds/cubic foot
Cement, slurry 90 pounds/cubic foot
First convert tons to pounds.
25 (U.S.) tons = 50,000 pounds
Now we divide that number by above conversion factor, based on what type of cement you are asking about. I will finish the conversion using mortar.
50,000 pounds / 135 pounds/cubic foot = 370.37 cubic foot
Now we convert cubic foot to cubic yard by dividing by 27.
370.37 cubic foot / 27 cubic foot/cubic yard =13.72 cubic yards
If the type of cement in question is not mortar, you just alter the formula using the conversion factor for some other type of cement.

Thanks so much. After searching on my own for too long, you made it all so very logical. I do appreciate your time, Robert.
