How many whole onions can be made from 2 ounces of chopped when they are wet ?

According to the Rec.Cooking.FAQ, chopped onions weigh 18 grams per fluid ounce.

2 ounces of chopped onions would be 36 grams.

Thats as far as I got, as I do not know what the average whole onion weighs.  Take 36 grams, divide it by the weight (in grams) of a whole onion, and you'll find out how many onions in 2 ounces of chopped.
