outside diameter to acres

hello, i'm trying to figure out the acreage of a piece of land that is shaped similar to texas, I walked the outside diameter with a gps and it is .56 miles, I can not seem to figure out the math to estimate the acreage, any help would be appreciated.

You will need to split the area into smaller areas of basic geometric shapes.

For example, draw a picture of the shape, then split it up into squares, triangles, rectangles, etc.

Then you will know what dimensions you need to measure to calculate the area.
