??? What is the equivalent of micromol/L   expressed as Xmol?, How do I convert?

I am not sure what you mean by Xmol. You mean something like "quanity of moles"?

If you multiply micromole/liter times the number of liters the sample is you will get the number of micromoles of the secondary substance in that sample. Then divide by one million to convert micromoles to moles.

micromole/liter * liter = micromoles
micromoles / 1000000 = moles
