Adding liquid to liquid temperature change

Adding liquid to liquid temperature change

How do I find the outcome temperature of adding two different volumes of fluid at two different temperatures?

Example: If I add 2.5 gallons of water at 100 deg F to 2 gal @ 50 deg F, and then add .5 gal @ 70 deg F, what will be the final temperature?

I found a couple sites that show you how to work it out.

http://www.sciencebyjones.com/WATER_MIXING_LAB.HTM

http://dbhs.wvusd.k12.ca.us/webdocs/Thermochem/MixingWater.html

Nothing "automatic" like you'd find on this site. But I've added it to my to-do list and will try to have something up eventually.

Let me know if you could when (or if) you get this running. It could be usefull in so many ways. The sites you recommended are helpful, but having it in pull-down-menu format would be so much simpler.
