IN-LB to newtons

Hello everyone

How do I converse IN-LB to newtons? I'm trying to figure out an electric motors stall torque and it is given in IN-LB's which say nothing to me.

No, one is energy and the other is force. They are two different types of units.

You can convert pounds to newtons, or inch pounds to newton meters.  But not inch pounds to newtons.
