Defintions of units?

hi,
first of all: Great Site!!

Maybe i just didnt find it, but could you add definitions for the units? a little bit of info like who named it, what it helps to do, when it was "invented".
I was looking for information on what parsecs are and how you measure them.

That is one of the things I really want to add.  I have a few started, and will put them up eventually.

I wanted to wait until I had alot more before I put them up, since with only a few of the thousands of units defined so far, it would seem quite unimpressive.

I will move it up higher on my list though and try to have something up sooner.

definetely a good site. maybe send them a mail asking if its ok to copy the definitions in return for a link?
