Liquid Fertilizer
Liquid Fertilizer

There are solutions that recommend mixtures ranging from 1 teaspoon to 1 ounce per gallon. One mixer proportioner will mix at ratios 30:1 to 200:1 while the other 100:1 to 4000:1.
For a given mixture, how do I determine what to set the mixer proportioner at?
Thanks

You just need to convert both sides to the same unit, then you'll have your ratio.
1 gallon (U.S.) is 768 teaspoons (U.S.) so 1 teaspoon per gallon is a 768:1 ratio.
1 gallon (U.S.) is 128 fluid ounces (U.S.) so 1 ounce per gallon is a 128:1 ratio
